On June 1st EUMEPS has become a supporter of Recyclass, the platform created by brand owners, retailers, and plastics recyclers, raw material producers and converters, to advance recyclability of plastics packaging.
EUMEPS will participate in the Technical Committee for Polystyrene providing expertise on recycling guidelines and contributing to the development of a Design for Recycling standard for food and non-food EPS packaging.
Thanks to this initiative, EUMEPS aims at strengthening its cooperation with all stakeholders thus contributing to circular economy and the fulfilment of the EU 2025 plastics recycling targets.
